Wildflower Pickup Truck with Roni Johnson
Hello, my friends! I hope you are enjoying the last lovely days of the season. I am so excited to share my wildflower card that I made for our Rinea & Joy Clair collaboration. I live in a rural community so the Friends & Flowers stamp set really appealed to me. It's perfect for so many occasions or just because.
The great thing about this card is that you can use die-cuts if you have them but you can just as easily hand cut all of the individual pieces. I used a combination of both die-cut and hand-cut for my card. Let's begin!
Step 1 - Stamp the pickup truck image several times on the desired color(s) of Rinea foiled paper with StazOn or StazOn Pigment ink. I used Silver/Glossy Gold; Sapphire/Glossy Gold and Ruby/Glossy Gold foiled papers for this card.
Step 2 - Fussy cut the individual pieces and glue them together. I chose to color the wildflowers with a few alcohol ink markers but it's not necessary. Set the glued pickup truck aside to dry.
Step 3 - Hand or die cut a couple of hills (Emerald/Glossy Gold; Jade/Jade Starstruck foiled papers), grass (Emerald/Emerald Starstruck foiled paper) and a road (Mocha/Mocha Starstruck). You will also need to cut a sky background from Turquoise/Glossy Gold foiled paper.
Step 4 - Assemble the background landscape and adhere it to a 4" x 5.25" white cardstock panel. Trim away the excess foiled papers.
Step 5 - Mount this panel to a white card base.
Step 6 - Adhere the pickup truck to the card.
Step 7 - Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of white cardstock and adhere it to the card.
