Whimsical Thanks Card by Charity
Charity here from Scrappin’ Chaos with a whimsical handmade card. This texture-rich thank you card combines multiple patterns of cardstock, rough corrugated paper, and shiny foiled paper. Layers of rectangles in different sizes keep the design flowing. A rounded diecut creates a stunning focal point.
Pastels colors and simple shapes dominate this design, letting the red frame stand out in contrast. The frame is diecut from Rinea's Ruby/Ruby Starstruck Foiled Paper.
Layering the elements together is simple enough, but a fine tipped glue is necessary for detailed areas. A repositionable adhesive will make it easier to get each piece exactly where you want it.
I finished off the card with lots of glitter glue. They add another pop of color and frame the central diecut. The dirigible and sentiment are diecut from Rinea's Turquoise/Turquoise Starstruck Foiled Paper.
