Two for One Mother's Day Card Plus with Roni Johnson
Roni with you today sharing a fun and easy way to create two cards at one time. As you know we here at Rinea have teamed up with the folks at Poppystamps to bring you a month filled creative inspiration.
I thought it would be fun to create a Mother's Day card pairing the Blooming Border die with the brand new Arctic/Gold Glossy foiled paper.
Step 1 - Adhere a 4 x 5 1/4" Blush/Gold Glossy foiled panel to an A2 white cardstock card base.
Step 2 - Die-cut the Blooming Border twice from Arctic/Gold Glossy, Emerald/Emerald Starstruck, and Jade/Jade Starstruck foiled papers.
Step 3 - Layer the Arctic flowers over the Emerald and Jade flowers and adhere them to the card along the left-hand side mimicking the Blooming Border die. Add the large and small leaves as desired.
Step 4 - Stamp the sentiment in the lower right-hand corner with Jet Black StazOn ink.
As I was cleaning up I realized that the piece of Arctic/Gold Glossy foiled paper that I had cut the Blooming Border looked like a great start to a second card. I pulled out a green A2 card base and mounted the negative die-cut piece to the card and filled in some of the spaces with leftover flowers and leaves from the Mother's Day card and an earlier project.
And this is how it turned out!
Quick, easy, and no waste.
Can't beat that.
Another look at both cards...
