Sweet Ice Pop Wall Decor with Lorrie

Sweet Ice Pop Wall Decor with Lorrie | Rinea
Hello friends! Lorrie coming to you today from the hot hot South! Summer is in full swing here in Georgia and boy is it HOT! These are the days when you want to sit in the air conditioning and eat ice cream all day. Well, you might not be able to eat all the ice cream you want, but you can make really sweet ice cream to hang on your wall with Rinea Foiled Paper!

Making this adorable wall decor is super easy and is an excellent project for kids!

I found this fun heavy chipboard popsicle shape at my local craft store. I used Violet/Gold Glossy Solid Foiled Paper, Fuschia/Gold Glossy Solid Foiled Paper, and Mocha/Gold Glossy Solid Foiled Paper to cover the chipboard.

It was so easy to cover the chipboard! I just laid the chipboard on top of the Violet/Gold Glossy Solid Foiled Paper, traced the shape with a pencil, then cut out the shape with scissors. I did the same with the Mocha/Gold Glossy Solid Foiled Paper for the "handle" of the popsicle, and then adhered all of the paper to the chipboard using double-sided craft tape.

For the stripes, I cut 1" strips from the Fuschia/Gold Glossy Solid Foiled Paper and adhered them to the shape, cutting off the excess with scissors.
This wall decor would be so cute in a kid's or tween's room!
