Shaker Card by Janet
This is Janet from Try it - Like it - Create it, and I am sharing a video tutorial for making a shaker card using Rinea foiled paper.
This is my first shaker card, I think I might be hooked. I love the variety of textures and activity with the card. Using the card kit was easy and I liked being able to cut my own shape rather them buying a kit that had it's shape already determined.
Materials:
- Rinea foiled paper (Jade/Gold Glossy Solid)
- cardstock (lt lt blue, white)
- shaker kit (Michaels)
- alcohol ink flowers
- flower die, leaf die
- scissors
- Glue Dots - craft
- dot embellishments
- adhesive
- glitter

Here is a close-up of the flowers, take a look at the texture. You can also see the Rinea foiled paper leaves and that they also have some depth to them since I didn't fully adhere them to the cardstock.
You can see the inside detail of the fourth flower in this image. I think adding these special touches make handcrafted cards just that much more special.
This was a really fun card to make and I just love how it turned out. Let me know if the comments what is your favorite part of this shaker card.
