Proud Of You - An Elegant Foiled Paper Card

Hello crafty friends, it's Ildi here to show you an elegant card today using foiled paper with an embossing folder.

I started with adhering my foiled paper onto a piece of cardstock. It is an important step as foiled papers are thin and otherwise can be warped or torn while you run it through your die-cutting machine.

I reached for my ghost ink to remove color from the embossed parts and I also found  that we can add a little distress look with just dabbing the inked applicator here and there.

As I didn't  want to use the foiled panel on the whole surface of my card so I decided to cut it and compose a diagonal shape. I adhered the pieces onto a navy card base and added a sentiment with foam squares.

As a final touch I added some gemstomes jus because I love them :).

However after a little hesitation I added another layer on the back to have some around.
