Pretty Package Decorations by Jess
Hello friends!
It's Jessica here again today, and I can't wait to share my foiled paper bows with you! I was playing around with the 3D Rolled Star Die Set and made these really cool looking bows! You could totally use them to adorn presents too - I used them to decorate little gift envelopes.
I used a variety of foiled papers to create these bows:
I started making the bows by die-cutting the foiled paper with the 3D Rolled Star die. I used all three sizes. Then, I "rolled" each petal down using the end of a paintbrush! So instead of making the tight points as you would make for the rolled star ornaments, you more roll them straight down and then shape. I really love how they turned out!
Here is the process in photos - as I mentioned, it's actually very simple:
I did two different versions - one more rolled and one more bent over. You could add all three sizes or just two layers - or even just use the one! It's really an endless option. The layers were glued together.
As you can see, I made a couple of simple envelopes using the Rinea foiled paper as well and decorated using the bows!
Thanks for stopping by today! See you again soon!
