Paper Piecing and Die Cut Christmas Card with Jenn DuBell
Hello everyone! Jenn here today sharing a super fun way to make beautiful cards using dies and paper piecing with Rinea Foiled papers! For this project I have made a pretty Christmas card in shades of blue and silver.
Silver Starstruck Foiled Paper
Turquoise/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper
Silver/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper
Other supplies used for this project:
Ornament Die
Christmas theme papers
Turquoise cardstock
White cardstock
Sentiment Stamp
To make this card....
First create die cuts. For this card I cut one from a patterned paper, one from SIlver Glossy Foiled Paper, and one from Turquoise Glossy Foiled Paper making sure that I kept all pieces.
Next, I mounted the patterned ornament die-cut to white cardstock and placed each piece of foiled paper from the silver and turquoise foiled paper pieces into the open spaces. Each was adhered using strong adhesive glue. Once all of the pieces were glued and dry I fussy cut around the die.
A piece of Silver Starstruck foiled paper was adhered to a turquoise card base. I then used foam adhesive squares on the back of the die cut and adhered it to the left of the Starstruck Silver lining up the top and bottom.
To finish my card I added a scrap of patterned paper across the bottom followed by a thin strip of Ebony Starstruck Foiled paper and a stamped sentiment.
