Make a Monochromatic Card with Susie Bentz
Making a monochromatic card can be a bit of a challenge. Fortunately Rinea makes it easier by offering most of their foiled papers in 2 finishes: Glossy and Starstruck. The different finishes provide so much visual texture!
I used a set of diamond shaped nesting dies to cut Gold Glossy and Gold Starstruck Foiled Papers in three different sizes.
I used Black Archival Ink to stamp a sentiment on one of the larger diamond shapes cut from Gold Glossy.
I created a slimline card base and played around with the positioning of the various diamonds, layering some of them. I popped up the sentiment when I added it to the front of the card.
Because of the sentiment, I decided to sneak in a touch of color with a tiny pair of hearts die cut from Ruby Red Glossy Foiled Paper. (I did try using hearts in gold to stay with the monochromatic theme, but they just didn't work for me.)
This style of card could work for any occasion depending upon the sentiments you choose to add.
