Rinea Foiled Paper Counting Sheep Plaque by Roni Johnson

Rinea foiled papers aren't just for cards and scrapbooks. Step out of the box with this fun home decor piece and add a quaint little counting sheep plaque to your toddler's bedroom.

Directions:

Step 1. Paint new or upcycled wood plaque with white acrylic paint.

Step 2. Adhere Turquoise/Turquoise Starstruck to the front of the plaque.

Step 3. Hand cut "hills" from Jade/Jade Starstruck and adhere them to the bottom portion of the plaque.

Step 4. Die-cut trees, fence, grass and flowers and adhere them to the plaque.

Step 5 - Use the Hyacinth 3D die to cut several pieces of Arctic/Gold Glossy foiled paper. (number of pieces will depend on the size and amount popcorn you wish to make)

Step 6 - Tear the die-cuts into sections between 2 - 5 strips per section. This makes the easier to curl and for ease of placement.

Step 7 - Roll the strips around a pencil, skewer or other thin circular instrument to make the curls. I like to use a metal pick that has a nice size diameter perfect for rolling these little curls.

Step 8 - Repeat this process until you have enough curls for 3 sheep.

Step 9 - Die cut 3 ovals from cardstock.

Step 10 - Glue the individual curls to the panel starting at edges.

Step 11 - Continue to add curls filling in the center of the oval.

And this is what the sheep will look like at this point.

Step 12 -  Use a pick or skewer to "Fluff" the curls and twist them this way and that to puff up the body more towards the center of the oval.

Your sheep body should look something like this after fluffing.

Step 13 - Use the same process to make two more sheep bodies.

Step 14 - Hand cut face and legs from Ebony/Ebony Starstruck foiled paper and affix to each sheep.

Step 15 - Glue the sheep to the plaque.

Step 16 - Die-cut 1, 2 and 3 using Ebony/Ebony Starstruck foiled paper and affix one to each of the sheep.
