How To Make Mandala Easel Cards by Monika Graefling-Gladysiak | Rinea

Hello everyone! I hope you have a wonderful day. It's Monika today creating two Mandala Easel Cards using Floral and Peacock Variety Packs.

We are going to use Rinea foiled papers: Floral Variety Pack, Peacock Variety Pack, Cobalt, cutting dies from Card Making Magic 'Lacy Octagon Mandala 6x6',  circle dies, stamps by Card Making Magic, Rinea Ghost Ink, double sided foam tape, red liner tape, scissors, a tissue, scoring board, white card and liquid glue.

Let's start with card number 1 using Floral Variety Pack

Step 1:

Create a card base from white card and the biggest cutting die. Make sure that the fold of the card is a little bit below the cutting edge.

Step 2:

Use double sided tape to stick Starstruck Marigold and Starstruck Fuchsia to white card, die cut the background and mandala element.

Step 3:

Use double sided tape to stick Violet and Fuchsia to white card, die cut the circles. Then use the stamps from the set and Rinea Ghost ink for the ornate circle and the sentiment. Wait a few moments and then use a tissue to get excess of the ghost ink from the foiled paper. Attach all the elements together.

Step 4:

Use double sided tape to stick Starstruck Marigold and Starstruck Fuchsia to white card, die cut the small mandalas. This element will create a stopper for our easel card. Die cut smaller circle from white card and adhere the die cut small mandala onto the circle.

Step 5:

Use a scoring board to score the horizontal line on the card base. Adhere the big mandala onto the lower part of the card base (below the scored line), use double sided foam pads to attach the stopper inside the card.

Let's start with card number 2 using Peacock Variety Pack and Cobalt Rinea Foiled Paper.

Step 1:

Create a card base from white card and the biggest cutting die. Make sure that the fold of the card is a little bit below the cutting edge.

Step 2:

Use double sided tape to stick Cobalt and Starstruck Violet to white card, die cut the background and mandala element.

Step 3:

Use double sided tape to stick Violet and Sapphire to white card, die cut the circles. Then use the stamps from the set and Rinea Ghost ink for the ornate circle and the sentiment. Wait a few moments and then use a tissue to get excess of the ghost ink from the foiled paper. Attach all the elements together.

Step 4:

Use double sided tape to stick Sapphire and Starstruck Violet to white card, die cut the small mandalas. This element will create a stopper for our easel card. Fussy cut a smaller rectangle from white card and adhere the die cut small mandala onto the rectangle.
