How To Create A Fun Beach Theme Card
by LeeAnn McKinney
Greetings friends and fellow crafters, LeeAnn here, and I don't know about you, but I need some water time. Well, since that isn't happening, I went off to my craft room and started playing instead. Take a look...
I have a video tutorial showing how I created this project,
I used the fun Under The Sea Coverplate Die from Kat Scrappiness as the highlight of this card. It is so pretty, and when paired with the Sapphire Starburst Foiled Paper, with the double side adhesive I stuck to the foil paper before running it through my Vagabond 2 it just seemed like perfection.
I stamped, cut out, and colored the images and sentiment from the Kat Scrappiness Summer Gnome Stamp Set and I was on my way. I had actually turned off the A/C in my studio so it was getting hot, and feeling like I was at the beach.
Once all my images were colored I started the assembly. First, peel away the backing sheet from the double side adhesive, and stuck the Cover plate to my card-base. I then used a tape runner to adhere the sentiment and surfboard to the base, the Gnome was attached to the Surfboard with tape runner, and a bit of foam tape was used under his hat to pop that portion up and give a little dimension.
Thanks for stopping by, and have a crafty day, LeeAnn
