How To Create Cocktail Dresses by Monika Graefling-Gladysiak
Hello everyone! I hope you have a wonderful day. It's Monika today creating cocktail dresses using Rinea Foiled Papers 'Formal variety pack'.
We are going to use Rinea Foiled Paper: Silver Starstruck, Silver, Arctic, Arctic Starstruck, Ebony, StazOn black ink, silver gemstones, dress cutting die by Crafter's Companion - Gemini Create-A-Card Die - Be Fabulous (if you don't have a dress cutting die, you can create your own template), ribbon, double sided tape, liquid glue and scissors.
Dress 1:
Use the dress cutting die to create a base (folding at the top) from white card, die cut the dress from Arctic and Ebony.
Use an embossing folder to create polka dot effect on the black dress. Use Ghost Ink 2.0 Reinker and a blending tool to take the colour off the black dots.
Die cut the belt, top of the dress and bow from the foiled paper.
Cut the top of the dress and adhere it on the black dress, use double sided tape to adhere the belt, bow and top of the dress, add a small silver gem on the bow.
Dress 2:
Die cut the dress from Arctic starstruck foiled paper, create a card base from white card using the dress cutting die (make sure the fold is at the top), die cut the small elements from the Arctic foiled paper. Stamp the small rose using StazOn ink and fussy cut it.
Use Silver Starstruck and White Starstruck foiled paper and fold them to create the bottom of the dress.
Adjust the bottom of the dress and stick it to the Arctic Starstruck base, adhere the belt, top of the dress and add the stamped rose, add small gems. Adhere your dress onto the card base.
Dress 3:
Die cut the dress base with the fold at the top, die cut the dress from Arctic foiled paper. Use StazOn black ink to stamp small roses onto Silver Starstruck and fussy cut them.
Use Ebony foiled paper to die cut the element for the top of the dress and adhere it.
Adhere the Arctic dress onto the card base, add black ribbon for the belt.
Add roses and silver gems at the bottom of the dress.
