Geometric Rosette Foil Card
Hi all, Linda here today. Recently I purchased the Spellbinders Whirl-About die and knew that it would be a perfect match to use with Rinea foil. I love the intricate designs in this die set and using it with the two sided foil would be beautiful.
This card may look complicated but it really isn't when you have one of these dies. Could you imagine having to cut each of those shapes with a craft knife? They used to do that years ago before die cutting machines came out. I even have a stencil to help with this process that I got years ago - I'm talking like 20 years ago. LOL
Method:
Cut gold/purple Rinea Foil to just under 4.25 in. x 5.5 in. This will then leave a small white boarder when you place it on your card if you cut it just a little shy of the measurements. Die cut largest set of dies out of gold / purple Rinea Foil in the upper area of the paper with the Purple side up.
Fold over the the tabs and tuck under the points.
Take the negative left from the die cut and emboss with Flower Vine embossing folder with the gold side up. Adhere to white A2 greeting card with Thermoweb Memory Tape Runner XL.
Adhere Die cut in the center of negative with the Purple side up using Thermoweb Memory Tape Runner XL.
On a scrap of white cardstock stamp Happy Anniversary from Sharon's Script set in Brutus Monroe Detail ink - Raven. Cut the ends into pennant shape. With an awl or small hole punch make two holes at each end. Place a round min gold brad in each hole. Add White Adhesive Foam Squares to the back and apply to the bottom of the card.
Finally add a Gold Glitter Round Bling Gemstone Sticker to the center of the die cut shape. Enjoy your beautiful card.
