How To Use SVG Cut Files To Create A Frosty's Hat Treat Box by Melinda Beltran
Hello crafty friends,
Melinda here with you today sharing another fun project! This month we are pairing our beautiful Rinea Foiled Papers with Imagine Products. Here is my project.
I created this fun treat bag/box shaped in good o'l Frosty's Hat! I love the way it turned out. I used my Ebony Starstruck, Ruby Starstruck and Glossy, Gold Glossy, Silver Starstruck, and Jade Starstruck foiled papers. I started by creating the treat bag file. I then cut out the base in plain black cardstock to give it some stability. I then cut the box covers in some Ebony Starstruck.
Here is a closer look at the Ruby Glossy foiled paper I used for the sash of the hat. I used an embossing folder to give it those "swirls."
I then used several punches I had to create the embellishments for his hat. I added a little bling embellishment to the center of the large flower along with some stickles.
Here's a closer look at the tag I created. I used my RG Studio 360 Holiday Tags stamp along with my Jet Black Imagine Ink to stamp the sentiment onto the Silver Starstruck foiled paper. I topped it off with a fun bow of red and white gingham.
For the handle, I used a snowflake border and punched out the border in Silver Starstruck foiled paper and then added a strip of Ruby Starstruck over that. You can also see that I added some mats with some more Ruby Glossy foiled paper for the sides of the box.
Here is one last look at my project. I just love the way it turned out.
