First Birthday Layout by Anita Scroggins
Hi everyone, Anita here with a layout from my Princess' first birthday. Doesn't everyone love a cake smash with a cute little kid? She was so happy and had so much fun playing with that little cake!
For this project I used some older Graphic 45 papers from my stash. I saw a layout on Pinterest that had lots of banners running behind the photo and I loved how it looked. I grabbed several coordinating papers and starting cutting strips.
I started by creating a cut file using my Silhouette Cameo. Rinea® Foiled Paper cuts beautifully on my Cameo. It also weeds incredibly easy and is easy to remove from the mat. I used Ebony/Gold Foiled Paper here.
I used double sided adhesive foam shapes and applied it to Gold/Gold Foiled Paper. I used a craft knife to cut around the foam to create a lovely sticker!
I used the same technique with Sapphire/Gold Foiled Paper to make a smaller sticker.
Here is how they turned out. Super cute! I cut the hexagon piece into two pieces and tucked them behind the banner strips at the top and bottom of the banners.
I used the Copper/Copper Starstuck Foiled Paper to create a Rosette. I used an older Tim Holtz die. It is one of my favorites!
To finish the layout off I adhered all the pieces in place, added some faux stitching to the banners, and a few stickers from Jillibean soup.
