Enjoy The Little Things by Ildi

Hello sweet crafty friends, it's Ildi here to show you an embossed card today. I'm having a lovely 3D embossing folder by Spellbinders and I thought it's time to try how it works with foiled papers and I'm sooo happy with how it turned out!

To start my card I atteched a piece of foiled paper onto cardstock to have a thick front panel for the embossing. As many times before I picked some colors from the Earth Tones paper set.

I put my paper into the embossing folder and run it through my die-cutting machine.

I've got a nice and crisp pattern but I went for a more contrasted look, so I decided to remove the original color of the foil using Rinea Ghost Ink.

I gently applied the Ghost Ink directly from the pad onto the upper, embossed surface of my card panel.

This step is super quick and easy but maked a big differece.

I found the result really beautiful and dominant so I decided to keep all the rest super simple: I attached a silhouette die-cut and stamped a lovely sentiment to finish my  card.
