Embossed Friendship Card by Anita Scroggins
Hi, everyone, it's Anita here from The Flamingo Chronicals and I am sharing a card I made with some new (to me) techniques. I am not a huge card maker but every now and then I can pull one out. This card is beautiful but simple to make - which is right up my alley!
I started by cutting a sheet of Turquoise/Gold Glossy Foiled paper with a lovely scalloped die provided to me by Poppystamps.
I took the inside piece from the die-cut and gave it some texture using a Texture Fade folder from Tim Holtz. I am a big fan of embossing folders and these give a super raised texture.
Look how much texture there is and how well it holds its shape with the foiled paper! Also, check out the cute details on the die-cut shape. I used the Poppystamps Double Stitch Scalloped Rectangle die set and this is the second largest die in the group.
I love this cute die set and I can't wait to use it on my scrapbook layouts!
