Embossed Card With A Dahlia And Sequins by Charity
Charity here from Scrappin' Chaos with a card that shows how classy Rinea foiled paper looks when embossed or diecut. I have used both glossy and starstruck styles of the foiled paper for this project. Lace, sequins, and whimsical doodling make this card perfect for that special occasion.
~ I'd Rather Wear Flowers ~
My first step was to dry emboss a 4x6" of Gold/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper with an embossing folder.
The flower layers were next. I used a die set as well as Blush/Blush Starstruck Foiled Paper and Jade/Jade Starstruck Foiled Paper.
A hand doodled border in periwinkle ink added a touch of whimsy. I used a quick scallop and dot pattern.
I stacked and glued the flower layers and inked the edges of a cardstock quote.
Strips of lace give the assembled dahlia and quote card a place to line up.
A mix of green, white and grey sequins are scattered diagonally across the card.
