Use Die Cutting To Create A Destination Scrapbook Layout by Anita Scroggins

Hi everyone, it's Anita from The Flamingo Chronicals here to share a layout with you. My husband and I took an amazing trip for our 25th anniversary and I am making a mini album to document it.

I like to make my mini albums from scratch rather than using a pre-purchased one. That way I can include all the little tidbits that I picked up while traveling. I started this page with a sheet of heavy cardstock cut to 8x10 and inked the edges.

I cut a two-layer frame to mimic some of the architecture on the island. I used the new Cobalt/Gold Shiny Foiled Papers and the Arctic/Gold Shiny Foiled Paper for this. I love the way they look layered together.

Look how awesome it came out! I added a sticker to tie my die cut together with my photos. I love the new Cobalt/Gold Foiled Paper- it's a beautiful shade of blue.

Do you use things from your travels in your scrapbooks? I pick up all kinds of things while I am out and about. Here I used a piece from a National Park Service brochure as a title.
