Do You Want to Build A Snowman with Rinea Foiled Paper?
Hello! Susie here today and I am sharing a gift card holder I created with the cutest little snowman on the front!
I created the Post Box base first. I used Therm O Web Easy Cut Adhesive Sheets to adhere Turquoise/Turquoise Starstruck Foiled Paper to matboard before running the die through the Big Shot. The foiled paper is 12" but the die cut is 13" long. The solution is simple paper piecing. I backed a matching piece of the Foiled Paper with Easy Cut Adhesive and then die cut just the flap. Remove the liner off the back and adhere it in place.
I die cut a snowman from matboard and added details with markers before adhering him to the front of the box. I popped on a heart die cut from Ruby/Ruby Starstruck Foiled Paper.
I promptly decapitated a second snowman and dressed him up with a die cut scarf covered with Lavender/Lavender Starstruck Foiled Paper.
His hat was cut from Lavender/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper. I decided it needed a little more detail so I cut another hat from the Lavender Starstruck Foiled paper, cut off the cuff and adhered it with Red Liner Tape.
I adhered the snowman's head onto the flap...
... and punched 2 holes for elastic to hold the flap closed.
I think it's a super cute gift card holder open or closed.
Having the snowman's head on the flap adds a fun interactive element.
