DIY Autumn Wreath
Hello! Nadine here today and I have been busy making some Fall decorations for my home. After Halloween is over I do not usually do any decorating until Christmas but this year I thought I would add some. I made this Autumn foiled paper wreath with Rinea's Foiled Paper.
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out lots of leaves. I set my Silhouette on the Vellum setting, speed 4, and Force 16. The foiled paper cut perfectly!
A gorgeous pile of shiny leaves! I cut the leave in Rinea Mocha/Gold Glossy, Mocha Starstruck, Marigold/Gold Glossy, Marigold Starstruck, Ruby/Gold Glossy, Ruby Starstruck, Emerald/Gold Glossy, and Emerald Starstruck Foiled Paper. The Ruby, Marigold, and Mocha also all come in the Rinea Autumn Foiled Paper Variety Pack.
At first, I was going to use a paper plate for the circle for the wreath but decided it was too small. So I found a 12x12 piece of chipboard and cut a circle from that.
Using some ribbon I found at the Dollar Tree and the DecoFun Bowmaker. I made a bow and adhered it to the bottom of the chipboard circle with some ties. The DecoFun Bowmaker makes making bows sooooo easy!
I then started adhering the leaves with some Therm O Web Mixed Media Adhesive, slightly layering the leaves on top of one another moving all the way around the chipboard circle. Added some wire at the top to hang the wreath on a wall or door and added some fall berry like things that I had left over from another project.
Thank you so much for visiting and happy crafting!
