Create Christmas Gift Tags Using Banner Dies
by Roni Johnson
Step 2 - Cut the folded white cardstock using a banner die. Be sure to position one edge of the die off the folded edge to ensure that you don't cut the fold.
Step 3 - Cut several banners from Rinea Foiled Papers using the same die.
Step 4 - Cut desired holiday elements from foiled paper. This is a triple layer die from Spellbinders called Kaleidoscope Christmas Tree.
Step 5 - Assemble the layered tree and affix it to one of the foiled paper banners. Repeat this process for each gift tag needed.
Step 6 - Affix each of the decorated foil paper panels to the die cut banner/tags.
Step 7 - Punch a hole in the corner of the gift tag and insert a length of gold or silver stretch cord.
You will then have a lovely set of gift tags for all your gift giving needs. This is a great project not only for Christmas but any time of the year by simply swapping out the Christmas Tree for other appropriate decorations.
