Create Christmas Cards Using Rinea Foil with Dies

Create Christmas Cards Using Rinea Foil with Dies | Rinea

Hello everyone! Jenn here sharing a pair of festive Christmas cards using Rinea Foiled papers with dies!

For my cards, I have used the following foiled papers from Rinea:

Emerald/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper
Emerald/Emerald Starstruck Foiled paper
Jade/Gold Foiled Paper
Jade/Jade Starstruck Foiled Paper
Gold/Gold Foiled Paper
Arctic/Gold Foiled Paper

From my stash I have used:

Kraft cardstock
Red cardstock
White cardstock
Plaid Paper
Metal Dies
Floral embellishments
Snowflake embossing folder

For this set I have created a slimline style and a small notecard.

The slimline card base is 7"X8.5" kraft cardstock scored at 3.5" folded and burnished to make a 3.5"X8.5" slimline. Red cardstock matte measures 3.25"X8.25" and is followed by the plaid measuring 3"X8". I used the arctic/gold foiled paper to cut a scalloped circle using a die. The circle was run through my Big Shot using a snowflake embossing folder and then adhered to the card. Next I die cut several sprigs from both of the green foiled papers, sentiment using gold and a cardinal.(Cardinal is regular paper).

I added a few sprigs to the card front and then some foam adhesive to adhere the others and the bird to. This gives the card dimension and interest.

Floral embellishments were also added around the cardinal die cut.

For the smaller note card Kraft cardstock was cut to 8"X6", scored at 4", folded and burnished to create a 4"X6" card base. The red strip measures 3"X6". The plaid paper piece measures 2.75"X5.75". The same steps were then taken to add the sprigs, floral and sentiment.

Such a fun size to place on top of your holiday gifts!

The insides of my cards were lined with white cardstock and I added stickers to embellish as shown.

Thanks so much for viewing my cards today!

Happy papercrafting!
