Create A Fun Fall Friend Card by Diana Soling
Fall is my favorite time of year. I love the change in the air and the leaves. Such a beautiful time to spend outside.
Supplies:
leaf stencil, espresso ink, altenew artist markers, altewew washi tape
I started with taking the leaf stencil and placing it over my orange cardstock panel. I flipped the panel and stencil over and used washi tape to help hold the stencil in place.
I turned it back over and using my espresso ink and ink blending tool I added color to the panel to create a soft leafy background for my main focal point.
I then went about coloring my main image and a few of the additional flowers that come in this great digital kit (which you can also get as a stamp set). I then cut the frame out and cut all the flowers off of it and proceeded to trim out the inside so I could adhere the frame to my Mocha/Mocha starstruck foiled paper.
I added some gold lined washi to the bottom 1/3 of the card and then laid a thin strip of matte gold washi a the seam. Then I added some adhesive foam to the back of the triangle and adhered it to my card.
Once the triangle was placed I started to adhere down the flowers and leaves using my nuvo liquid adhesive. I trimmed out the hello friend sentiment and using my corner rounder I rounded out the ends and used my blending tool to add a tiny bit of color to the edges. I adhered it with foam tape and the cards all done!
