Create a Collage Style Card with Stamps and Masks by Susie Bentz
Hello! Susie here today sharing a collage style card with an inspirational message courtesy of Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps! Layering of stamps is an easy and effective way to add visual interest to your projects!.
I started the background with the Lavender Deco stamp - I think she has such an ethereal appearance! I created a mask on a bit of scrap paper and positioned it over the original image with removable adhesive. I added a generic library card stamp from my stash, overlapping the the images.
After removing the mask I added the sentiments at the top and bottom of the card using the Dream Live stamp.
I used a watercolor technique to paint the background before spattering it with watered down ink. I have a collection of washi tape and I applied bits of washi over the stamped images and along the edge of the card. I die cut tiny stars from Turquoise/Gold Glossy foiled paper and sprinkled them across the front of the card - some had the gold side up and some had the turquoise side up!
I die cut a sentiment from the Turquoise/Gold Glossy foiled paper and black cardstock. I glued the layers together before adhering it on top of the collage.
There is a lot going on with this card, but thanks to Rinea foiled paper, the main message is hard to miss - follow your heart!
