Create a Classy, Elegant Easel Card
by Roni Johnson
Since we're all still having to maintain our social distancing I thought it would be nice to create a lovely, elegant easel card to show someone we love just how much we miss them. I think this card conveys that sentiment royally!
Directions:
Step 1 - Die cut the Vintage Castle from Crafters Companion once from Ebony/Gold Glossy and once from Silver/Silver Starstruck foiled paper.
Step 2 - Carefully trim the black castle and adhere it to the silver diecut.
Step 3 - Cut a 6x12" piece of white cardstock. Score the cardstock at 2" and 6" to create an easel card.
Step 4 - Cover the front of the card with the following: 2" x 6" Arctic/Arctic Starstruck and 4"x6" Arctic/Gold Glossy (gold side up).
Step 5 - Adhere the Castle piece to the card but only applying glue to the bottom 2" piece so the castle will stand up when propped up.
Step 6 - Die cut tags, banner, flowers and foliage using foiled paper from the Elegant Variety Pack.
Step 7 - Adhere foliage and thinking of you banner to the front of the card.
Step 8 - Assemble the foiled paper rose and adhere it to the card.
Step 9 - Affix Ebony/Ebony Starstruck foiled paper to the inside of the card.
Step 10 - Diecut scallop stitched border and glue it to the bottom of the card.
Step 11 - Stamp the word Hugs on the Arctic tag and affix it and extra foliage to the bottom portion of the card. This will prop up the easel card.
