Bible Journaling With Rita Barakat by Martha
Hello everyone! Martha Lucia here with you!
Today I am sharing something very different. If you are a regular visitor to my Stampartpapel Blog, maybe you have seen some Bible Journaling that I post. However, for my today project, I use all my inspiration to create a journaling page on my Hymns & Songs Book with Rinea Foiled Paper and Rita Barakat stencils.
I have seen a lot of Bible Journaling creations and I have a teammate that create amazing pages. She is Andrea Bjork, a designer of Joy Clair Stamps and today I decided to inspire my project combining some of her tips. I started using the fantastic stencil from Rita Barakat LLC, I love the design and the great size, it is 6"x6" and the best part is how you can "trace" your own imagines and personalize it.
I traced the stencil design over my Hymnal book with a pencil and after removing the stencil I complete the image and colored with color Prismacolor Premier Color Pencils.
After the coloring of the Sisters Hearts Stencil by Rita Barakat I inked the background using three different colors of Classic Ink and jumbo Sponge Daubers. I used Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and the new color of Classic Ink Balmy Blue. All from Stampin Up! Using different die cuts with Rinea Foiled paper I created the different images to complete the layout. First I cut the alphabet letters using two different tones of Rinea Paper Foil from the Haunted Foiled Paper Variety. I used the Starstruck Marigold Orage and the Starstruck Ebony Black. You can find and buy these colors also in individual packages.
Then I die cut all the special details, like the parrot and the flowers with leaves. For that, I used the Princess Foiled Paper Variety Pack.
To obtain this layout with die cuts, I just combined the colors included on both variety packages and added a few touches of Emerald/Gold Glossy Foiled paper. This is my secret, always when I start creating I took my variety collections but I also keep on the side the Misfits Packages, because they include all the colors and I can mix and match easily. I pasted all the die cut foiled paper pieces using a liquid glue, it is easy and permanent and to be honest I love the look of my Hymns & Song Book with Rinea Foiled Paper!
