3-D Christmas Tree Card by Michelle
Hi- Michelle here showing you how you can impress your friends and family with this beautiful 3-D Christmas Tree card!
Supplies used:
- Starburst Sentiments Stamp Set
- Silver/Gold Glossy Foiled Paper- by the roll.
- White pigment stamping ink
- A Christmas tree die
- A festive embossing folder
- A blank card
- A solid colored piece of cardstock slightly smaller than the front of the blank card.
- Washi tape
- Metallic shimmer liquid ink.
- Thin double stick tape.
Place at least 3 Starburst stamps onto an acrylic block, ink and stamp onto the colored cardstock. Ink and repeat, turning the block as you stamp to change up the stamped pattern.
Use a fine tipped paintbrush to add small dots of the shimmer ink.
From the roll of foiled paper, cut and measure the size of your tree die. You can run all three layers of foil at a time when using the die and still get the fantastic cut and detail.
Same for the embossing folder, just layer three trees as shown and emboss.
Carefully peel apart the layers starting at the base of the tree.
The detail is fantastic!
Adhere one tree with your tape to the center of your card. Hand fold the other two trees in half and adhere them one on top of each other using a thin line of double stick tape right down the center.
Add your washi tape to the top and bottom of your card before adhering the whole thing to the front of your card blank.
Gently fluff up foiled tree branches for the final touch.
